At “The Gluten-Free Grove”, my home-based bakery caters to special diets with delicious, homemade treats. As someone with many food allergies, the main cook in a household with two celiacs and culinary diploma graduate, I understand allergy needs firsthand.
My products are made with ingredients that do not contain gluten, dairy, peanuts, oats, nuts, sunflower and sesame. Some products are free from corn as well. (the ingredients with corn are baking powder and icing sugar).

60% of the people in the household are gluten free and dairy free (2 are Celiacs), there is a designated wheat area for the other 40% that does not cross over to the gluten free section. Great care at attention is given to food preparation in our household.
About Leanne
Hello, I’m Leanne! As a culinary arts graduate since 2006, my journey in the kitchen has been intertwined with a personal exploration of food allergies and intolerances. Over the years, I’ve navigated through a spectrum of food allergies – from wheat, oats, barley, rye, to sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and dairy. With each of my three pregnancies, my allergy profile evolved, giving me a unique insight into cooking and baking with these restrictions.
In 2019, my family’s food journey took another turn when my husband and child were diagnosed with celiac disease and lactose intolerance. While I’m currently not allergic to wheat, dairy, and soy, I find that they trigger inflammation in my autoimmune arthritis, leading me to limit them in my diet.
Through these personal experiences, I’ve honed my skills in creating and adapting recipes to cater to various dietary needs. I’m thrilled to share my passion for food and baking with you all, offering recipes that are as inclusive as they are delicious. Here’s to food that brings us together and nourishes us in every way!
